Where it all started…
Shot over the hottest weekend of the year with a crew of 7, Last Day on Earth was brought together out of sheer determination. Based on a real-life experience, Dominique Roy wrote the script to explore what it really means to live every day like it’s your last… when you have no budget and no time.
With an incredible all-female and non-binary crew, this short was more than just a passion project, it was a way to help kickstart careers in the film industry for underrepresented groups in entertainment. Led by our fearless director, Kayla Zimmermann, our hardworking team made for a weekend of fun, laughter and working on our craft.
